Michelle Sutton is the author of over a dozen novels and an avid book reviewer/blogger. Most importantly she is a blessed wife and mother. She loves to explore the inner workings of the heart and prays for her novel to be used to the glory of God.
It has been such an honor and pleasure getting to know this woman. I've said it before, and I'll probably say it a million times more, Michelle is the most genuine and compassionate person I've ever met. This unconditional love for others is evident in her novels. She writes to encourage and uplift people that are struggling. Life is complicated and messy and she's not afraid to tackle subjects that are usually shunned in the Christian community. What I love about her characters is that there is no "mask", they are not hiding behind a perfect image. Her books take you on a journey of reaching that point where you feel you've hit rock bottom and then drops you even farther; but then you learn and begin to understand the depth of forgiveness and unconditional acceptance of our Lord and Savior and you find hope and healing. It's all so real. We have all have stumbled, in one way or another; therefore, we can all relate. It's a wonderful and powerful ministry tool. I pray that her books find their way into all the hands and hearts of those that are hurting, those that are hiding what's really going on in their lives; that they may know that they are not alone and that there is a community, a fellowship of other believers, that is ready and willing to accept them just as we were accepted by our Heavenly Father.
Wonderful photos, Tina. The one of their hands with the Edgar Allen Poe quote could easily be commercialized as a decorative picture...just blow it up and frame it. It would make a beautiful wedding or anniversary gift.
